Description
How to select the Loupes for you.
The 3 main aspects to consider for optimal performance are:
- Interpupillary distance (IPD) – this is the distance between the centre of your pupils, loupes must be aligned with each pupil to view one single image, with no overlap
- Working distance (WD) – this is the distance from the lens of the loupe to the object you are viewing, achieving the most comfortable ergonomic working position. Measured so that your head is over your shoulders and the subject matter is in focus.
- Magnification – enabling you to see the structures you need to visualize, as magnification increases both the field of view and depth of focal distance decrease.
